Pargo first to produced four wheel golf carts in 1965

Pargo was the first golf cart manufacture to build a four wheel golf cart in 1965. All golf carts prior to 1965 had only three wheels: one wheel in front, two in back.

Pargo created the name Eagle in 1976 to produce its commercial line of golf carts exclusively for hotels and Walt Disney theme parks exactly like the one in the photos above. Pargo/Eagle was eventually purchased entirely by Textron (E-Z-GO) in Augusta Georgia.

  1. I have a cart just like the one in the photo that is in rough shape. Wondering what the value would be if restored back to new condition.
